Benton filed suit, Hartley Hall propounded interrogatories and document requests. Bentons and (according to an affidavit) Ms. Benton then responded; however, no documents were produced and Hartley Hall asserted that the interrogatory answers were incomplete or unresponsive. The Appellate Court affirmed. Benton did not respond.
